Squid in Roasted Tomato Sauce, Brown Basmati


  • Nora's Tomato Sauce, recycled from Improv Pizza
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 1 pound fresh squid, tentacles and tubes
  • 1 cup brown rice


  1. Cook the rice (1 cup rice to 2.5 cups water). Rinse the squid in a colander, and slice tubes into rings. Heat your sauce in pan with the white wine. Add squid and simmer for about 30 minutes. Pour over brown rice, with a side of roasted vegetables. Succulent! This sauce is also delicious over spaghetti!
